Resolution on media freedom in Georgia

The European Parliament just adopted a resolution on media freedom in Georgia. As the European Conservative groups negotiator on this resolution, I insisted on the need for comprehensive and strict sanctions on the Georgian regime that is repressing Georgian democracy.

The European Parliament demands the release of journalist Mzia Amaglobeli, end repression of independent media, revoke “foreign agent” laws, and restore Georgian democracy. #EPlenary
