US President Donald Trump’s 10% customs tariffs on imports from all foreign countries, including the European Union, came into effect.

In the @tv24_lv program “Preses Klubs” we discussed what the European Union’s response should be, whether these tariffs are justified and what consequences this could have for transatlantic relations. Will the EU be able to act unitedly and decisively? Is a trade war inevitable?
