📢 Moldova stands at a critical juncture. With USAID withdrawing & elections looming, the EU must step up.

I called for boosting the first payout by 5% to strengthen Moldova’s resilience against foreign interference. Moldova’s future is European! 

In Strasbourg I also emphasized in the debate on the future of European defense: clear priorities and really working mechanisms are needed.

💰 #ReArmEurope cannot be based on loans alone. There must also be grants and incentives.
🔗 Compatibility and connectivity – critically important.
