Alongside a joint declaration by the Baltic and Polish defense ministers, the National Alliance has submitted a draft bill to withdraw from the Ottawa Convention. With the security situation in our region deteriorating, we must ensure that we have access to all necessary tools for defense. Self-imposed restrictions can no longer take precedence over national security. Saeima, the Latvian parliament, could begin deliberations as early as Thursday.
